The Philippines' main international airport in Manila has consistently been named the world's worst airport. To relieve this pressure, an international consortium commissioned a masterplan that would see the development of an airport city, terminals, and infrastructure to be built over 25 years. To this end, the team of local and international practices designed a masterplan that was contextually responsive, commercially viable, and aspirational.
